2018年是充滿挑戰而又豐收的一年。去年我們的業務有突破性的發展，當中新加坡數據中心項目亦是我們首個香港地區以外的數據中心項目。為響應國家倡議的『一帶一路』的經濟策略發展，我們亦都開展了越南、孟加拉、俄羅斯市場的業務推廣活動。
至於香港業務方面，除了維持現有業務範疇外，我們更積極參與教育局所倡議的第四個資訊科技教育策略，為香港100間中、小學的資訊科技設施進行升級或優化，以滿足『電子學習學校支援計劃』的要求。
由於日本仍然是我們比較熟悉的市場，我們引進Altai Super WIFI並推廣至日本製造業、航運業等對WIFI技術有需求的行業，希望能為他們提供解決方案。
2018 is a challenging and bumper harvest year. Our significant oversee project, Singapore Data Center project was our first data center project outside Hong Kong. In response to the "The Belt and Road Initiative " economic strategy development of the national initiative, we have also carried out business promotion activities in Vietnam, Bangladesh and the Russian market.
As regards Hong Kong's business, apart from maintaining its existing business areas, we are more actively involved in the fourth IT education strategy initiated by the Education Bureau to provide more than 100 schools in Hong Kong in order to upgrade or optimize the information technology facilities in primary and middle schools to meet the requirements of the e-Learning School support scheme.
Since Japan market is still familiar with, we introduced Altai Super WIFI and extended to Japan's manufacturing, shipping industry and which are demanding WIFI technology, we hope can provide them with solutions.
基礎建設 Infrastructure
新加坡數據中心項目是我們一個新里程碑，亦因為項目的成功，使當地數間企業對我們青睞，令我們打了一支強心針，更積極參與當地基建項目。
香港其中一個大型基建項目廣深港高鐵-香港高鐵段通車後，代表我們的工作亦告一段落，很高興我們能參與其中。
隨著完成香港數據中心項目第二期之後，稍事休息，準備迎接第三期的來臨。為配合教育局所倡議的第四個資訊科技教育策略，我們已經為首批26間中、小學的資訊科技設施進行升級作準備。位於中半山的女子中學已完成安裝。
Singapore Data Centre project is a new milestone for us, and because of the success of the project, a number of local enterprises have favored us, and encouraged to participate in local infrastructure projects.
After opening one of Hong Kong's major infrastructure projects, Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hongkong high-speed rail – Hong Kong Section, the duty of us has also been over, and we are glad to be involved.
With the completion of the second phase of the Hong Kong Data Centre project, take a break and prepare for the third phase.
To tie in with the Fourth Information Technology education strategy initiated by the Education Bureau, we have made enhancement of the information technology facilities in primary and middle schools in priority stage. Installation has been completed at the girls ' secondary school in mid-levels.
產品研發及應用 Product Development & Application
產品研發方面，亦是豐收的一年，eWAVE2108H、 eWAVE5101L、eWAVE6102 已經分別於年內推出市場，產品可滿足高速而中、長途傳輸的光波分平台應用。
可攜式伸縮光纜軸亦步入研發階段後期，可解決臨時或緊急光纖傳輸應用，並可望於2019年第一季推出市場。Fiber Track 由去年面世之後，一直受各大客戶的歡迎並得到廣泛地應用，特別是數據中心客戶。市場對光纖狀況亦越來越嚴謹，Smart Cleaner & Swift Cleaner 將可提高光纖的潔淨度，令數據傳輸更準確穩定。
OPGW 的應用對發展中國家而言，屬於重要基礎設施的一環，加上我們於當地合作伙伴的推廣，使今年的銷售保持穩定的增長。
For product development is also a bumper harvest year, eWAVE2108H, eWAVE5101L, eWAVE6102 has been launched in the year, products can fulfill the requirement of high-speed, medium to long distance transmission of wavelength-division multiplexing platform applications.
Portable & retractable optical cable drum are planning to launch within the first quarter 2019, which can solve temporary or emergency optical fiber transmission applications.
FiberTrack since its launch last year, it has been popular with our major customers and has been widely usage, especially data center customers.
It is also becoming more and more rigorous in optical fiber conditions, Smart Cleaner, Cleaner, Swift it will improve the cleanliness of the fiber and make the data transmission more accurate and stable.
OPGW applications for developing countries, part of the important infrastructure, coupled with our outreach to local partners, has made this year sales to maintain a steady growth.
