Bristol Instruments Continues Growth with Hire of Manufacturing Engineer and Senior Software Engineer

VICTOR, NEW YORK May 8, 2018 – Bristol Instruments, Inc., a world leader in optical interferometer-based instrumentation, announces the addition of two new hires—Mr. Sean Adams has joined the company as Manufacturing Engineer and Mr. James Massaro as Senior Software Engineer.

Mr. Adams comes to Bristol Instruments from a 14-year career at Hover-Davis, where he worked in various positions including Engineering Technical Manager and Mechanical Design Engineer. He has also held previous product and mechanical design positions for the Burleigh Products Division of EXFO and Ben-Mer Manufacturing. Mr. Adams holds an Associate degree in Mechanical Technology from Monroe Community College and has also completed his Journeyman’s Apprenticeship, with extensive experience as a Tool and Die maker.

Prior to joining Bristol Instruments, Mr. Massaro most recently worked as a Software Engineer at Caliber Imaging and Diagnostics. He has held previous software development positions at Alstom Transport, Thomas Electronics, Inc., and Exelis. Mr. Massaro holds his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, with a Concentration in Image and Video Processing.
