Terahertz Technologies was founded in 1989 and is located in the village of Oriskany in the heart of New York State. The focus of the company is to develop, design and manufacture products in the optics realm that provide the best performance-to-price ratio for our customers. The evolution of the company's product line has been one of understanding the market and acting to fulfill the requirements of rapidly advancing technologies.

We have developed a large number of sophisticated instruments for a diverse group of customers in many different industries, ranging from the automotive, fiber optics, communications, photonics, power generation and medical equipment industries and for research laboratories, government entities and educational organizations worldwide. Our products can also be seen sold under the name of many other prominent manufactures in these industries.
Among our products are a full line of fiber optic test equipment, to include optical time-domain reflectometers, hand held optical spectrum analyzers, CWDM channel analyzers, tunable laser sources and autotest/autowave loss test sets. We also have a full line of optical to electrical converters, fiber optic links and a fiber optic video link system. We offer an optical chopper, laser power and energy meter, a fiber optic laser tachometer, and various other custom opto-electronic products.
The principal engineers at Terahertz have over 50 years of combined experience in radiometric and fiber optic instrumentation. They pride themselves in the ability to develop the most cost-effective solution for the customer.
