Belden Launches Solutions that Promote Safety and Security without Sacrificing Mission-Critical Performance

St. Louis, Missouri – Aug. 29, 2024 – Belden Inc. (NYSE: BDC), a leading global supplier of network infrastructure and digitization solutions, announces new products designed for secure, high-quality performance in critical applications.

 Data Acquisition & Transmission        

·       Belden LSZH (Low-Smoke, Zero-Halogen) Cca-Rated OSDP (Open Supervised Device Protocol) Cables are the newest addition to the company’s portfolio of OSDP Access Control Cables, designed to comply with European Commission standards. Because the cables meet criteria for flame spread, heat release and smoke production, they can reliably connect security and access control systems while ensuring high performance in the event of a fire.

·       Belden NewGen Multi-Conductor & Pair LSZH Cable Portfolio has expanded to include products with enhanced flame ratings that comply with European Construction Products Regulation (CPR) guidelines. The cables offer a LSZH design with enhanced safety features that allow them to perform in case of fire.

·       Belden EN/IEC-Rated Classics/Electronics portfolio now includes LSZH jacketed paired and multi-conductor cables that provide enhanced resistance to fire to meet European CPR guidelines.

 Data Orchestration & Management    

·       Belden PROVIZE Suite offers new features, including network planning with Belden BOBCAT and GREYHOUND switches, subnet and MRP sub-ring configuration, CLI export and template stacking capabilities. It also includes the PROVIZE Planner Essentials license.

·       Hirschmann EAGLE40-4F Industrial Firewalls provide deep packet inspection and

advanced cybersecurity. As part of the EAGLE40 family, they feature a robust design

and numerous certifications, making them ideal for protecting critical industrial applications.

·       ProSoft Technology FOUNDATION Fieldbus FF Links allow users to connect Foundation Fieldbus (FF) H1 devices to an EtherNet/IP™ controller (as a Target or Originator). They can also be used to transfer FF device data using the Modbus TCP protocol to a Modbus client or server.
