On December 10, Vero Fiber Networks announced that it will deliver 65 miles of new multi-conduit and fiber optic network to the Columbus, Ohio, region. When the project is completed, Vero will have almost 100 miles of fully underground network in the critical data center market.
Vero, which first completed its route to the Columbus area in 2022, reported that the area is appealing because of land prices and access to a variety of power suppliers. CEO Pamela Moore reported that the company is excited to continue expanding and supporting clients in the area.
“Vero partners with marquee clients by constructing greenfield networks that support the tremendous infrastructure required to support AI and other technologies,” said Moore in a press release.
Vero also expanded to the Des Moines, Iowa, area earlier this year, building a similarly sized network to support that region’s data centers. The company’s nationwide network now extends to 20 states and 245 cities.
