Comcast Business establishes PoP in 365 Data Centers' Nashville facility

365 Data Centers says that Comcast Business has established a new point-of-presence (PoP) in its Nashville facility. According to the company, the network access point in Nashville will provide 365 Data Centers' customers with connectivity to Comcast's network, as well as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure networks.

According to the company, the network access point in Nashville will provide 365 Data Centers' customers with connectivity to Comcast's network, as well as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure networks.

"Comcast Business offers the premium services, cloud connectivity and bundles that enable high growth enterprises to excel in today's marketplace," said Steve Weaver, 365 Data Centers vice president of sales and marketing. "Our Nashville area customers have asked for connectivity to Comcast's vast network, so we are thrilled to provide this great resource to them."

Recently acquired by an investor group, 365 Data Centers is a data center services provider operating facilities in Buffalo, Chicago, Detroit, Indianapolis, Nashville, Philadelphia, New York, and Tampa (see “Investor group buys 365 Data Centers, eyes other targets”). The Nashville facility hosts its regions' internet exchange.

"As the technology leader in Nashville, Comcast has a long history of investing in the region's business community," said Michelle Pluskota, Comcast's vice president of business services. "We are thrilled to work with 365 Data Centers to help their customers access data storage, and take advantage of our advanced network."

According to 365 Data Centers, Comcast Business also has existing PoPs in the provider's Detroit and Philadelphia facilities.
