Austria's card complete turns to Ciena, Kapsch for data center interconnect

Austrian credit card and transaction services provider card complete is upgrading its data center interconnect (DCI) infrastructure via optical transport systems from Ciena (NYSE: CIEN).

Austrian credit card and transaction services provider card complete is upgrading its data center interconnect (DCI) infrastructure via optical transport systems from Ciena (NYSE: CIEN).

Kapsch BusinessCom, a local Ciena BizConnect partner, is facilitating several aspects of the deployment, including sales, design, deployment, hands-on training, and ongoing support.

card complete Group supports businesses who accept credit cards from Visa, MasterCard, and Maestro, among others. card complete Service Bank AG and its subsidiary DC Bank AG comprise a nationwide network of acceptance points and support more than 1.5 million cardholders.

Ciena and Kapsch will team to deploy the 6500 Packet-Optical Platform for card complete's data center interconnect needs.
