H5 Data Centers buys Cincinnati’s 925 Dalton Avenue data center
H5 Data Centers has added to its foothold in Cincinnati with the acquisition of the data center at 925 Dalton Avenue. The 107,000-square-foot facility, originally developed by PNC Bank, is a Tier III, concurrently maintainable site located near downtown and less than 15 minutes from the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.
The company already operates an edge data center and carrier hotel at 360 Gest St. in Cincinnati.
The 925 Dalton site offers 2 MW of newly installed UPS-backed power as well as three 2.25-MW generators and dual electrical feeds. Connections to multiple metro fiber networks and communications services providers are available as well. The site offers gated parking, a secure multi-bay loading dock, and dual authentication access controls. The property also has access to several thousand square feet of office space.
"Ohio is a rapidly growing data center market," commented Josh Simms, founder and CEO of H5 Data Centers. "H5 Data Centers will leverage our existing edge data center and carrier hotel location with the space, power, and cooling capacity of 925 Dalton to deliver an exceptional colocation product to the Cincinnati market. We welcome the opportunity to continue to grow Cincinnati’s interconnection community and serve the mission-critical needs of the region’s leading enterprises."
