DE-CIX Dallas adds switch and PoP in Carrier-1 data center

DE-CIX Dallas announced the extension of its platform with a new switch and point-of-present (PoP) in Carrier-1’s data center. As an independent data center owner, Carrier-1’s data center at 1515 Round Table Drive in Dallas offers a diverse suite of connectivity options, including a managed plug-and-play bandwidth blend and direct access to all major network carriers and cloud providers, says DE-CIX. “Aligning with DE-CIX provides our customer with access to our metro network ring and dark fiber,” says Julia Morgan, president of Carrier-1. “It ensures an always-on and always-available solution for their most critical data applications.”
