The MT1000A/MT1100A platform is an all-in-one field test solution for new technologies, including OTN, and legacy systems such as SDH/SONET, Ethernet, Fibre Channel, and PDH/DSn.
This platform provides testing for both legacy and next-gen connections in a single test set that is hand-held and employs GUIs for simplicity. This combination of flexibility and simplicity minimizes operational expenditures. Judge's Comment.

The MT1000A/MT1100A platform is an all-in-one field test solution for new technologies, including OTN, and legacy systems such as SDH/SONET, Ethernet, Fibre Channel, and PDH/DSn. The result, Anritsu says, is a cost-effective upgrade path. An intuitive GUI allows for pass/fail tests and easy operation. With a choice of two- or four-port operation, the testers can accommodate network and transport equipment operating from 1.5 Gbps to 100 Gbps. Multiport capability allows independent tests to be run simultaneously on two lines using a single device. Ethernet, Fibre Channel, and SDH/SONET signals can be mapped onto OTN signals, and these mapped OTN client-signal tests under near-to-live conditions support faster troubleshooting, Anritsu adds.
