(London) completed its acquisition of the fiber-optic network and associated assets of Telecom Noord West NV (Netherlands), a wholly owned subsidiary of Energie Noord West (Netherlands), for a cash consideration of approximately #41 million. The acquired assets include 170 route-km of fiber-optic network and associated switching and transmission equipment serving the Amsterdam business districts. colt also acquired duct and fiber linking Amsterdam with other towns and cities in the northwest Netherlands, bringing the total network to almost 1000 route-km.
