WOW! Internet, Cable and Phone says it has completed its previously announced acquisition of NuLink systems in Newnan, GA. The deal adds more than 34,000 homes and businesses in metro Atlanta to WOW!'s footprint.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. WOW! announced it had reached an acquisition agreement with New York-based private equity firm Halyard Capital for NuLink on August 2. Halyard helped create NuLink in 2008 by acquiring assets from Newnan Utilities (see "Halyard Capital backs new broadband company").

The cable MSO plans to offer the new customers access to its internet, cable TV and phone service to more than 34,000 additional homes and businesses. The company recently unveiled gigabit broadband services in five markets, and promised to invest in the newly acquired infrastructure.
