"This network addition helps solidify Lightower's presence in Baltimore, a city in which we continue to invest and expand," explained Rob Shanahan, CEO of Lightower. "Our all-fiber solutions are now available to all enterprises, educational institutions, health care businesses, media companies, government agencies, and wireless and wireline carriers. With this network acquisition, Lightower continues its aggressive expansion in the Mid-Atlantic region, as well as throughout our entire service area."

Downtown on-network data centers include those at 111 Market, 300 W. Lexington, 506 Central, 323 N. Charles, and 1401 E. Russell. Meanwhile, Baltimore customers will gain access to more than 15,000 service locations throughout the Lightower footprint. This includes regional data centers in the Ashburn, VA, area.
