Telia receives license in Belgium

Telia International Carrier has received an establishing license, which enables the company to expand into Belgium. Under the license, Telia International Carrier will have access to the Belgium market until 2015.

Telia International Carrier has received an establishing license, which enables the company to expand into Belgium. Under the license, Telia International Carrier will have access to the Belgium market until 2015. Through Telia's sales representation in Brussels, services within data communication, telephony, capacity as well as infrastructure will be offered.

By being present in Brussels, Belgium data and telecom operators have the possibility to connect to Telia International Carriers global "Viking Network". With more than 30 local operators, the closeness to France, UK and Germany and also as a port for transatlantic traffic, the Belgium market is of interest for Telia Internationals Carriers continued build up.
