Highwave appoints new VP of sales

7 March 2003 -- Highwave Optical Technologies, Lannion, France, has appointd Anne-Marie Angelelli as its VP Sales.

7 March 2003 -- Highwave Optical Technologies, Lannion, France, has appointd Anne-Marie Angelelli as its VP Sales.

Angelelli has more than 15 years' experience in sales and marketing within the telecommunications sector. After nine years at Bosch Telecom in the telecom infrastructure projects as Director of the export department then as Director of the New Providers' Division, she joined Dassault Automatismes et Télécommunications as its exports sales Director for France.

At the start of 2000, she took up the post of Sales Director, New
Providers, at the Ericsson group. She is a graduate of the Ecole Centrale de Lille (IDN) and has a postgraduate diploma in electronics.

"With her knowledge of the world of telecommunication as well as her international experience in management and sales development, Angelelli has all the necessary skills to develop our worldwide sales operations," says Highwave's CEO Eric Delevaque.

"She has made a major contribution to the commercial success of the various companies she has worked for. Her competence and determination will be a great asset to our company when the number of clients grows rapidly."

Angelelli said, "Once I have visited Highwave's principal and prospective clients, I intend to quickly implement a new sales strategy that will enable us to boost our market share and secure the major accounts we do not already hold."
