FONS signs distributor to boost global OEM penetration

12 March 2003 -- Fiber Optic Network Solutions, Northborough, MA, US, has signed a deal with Photonic Sales International (PSI) focused on gaining increased sales coverage in the OEM market.

12 March 2003 -- Fiber Optic Network Solutions, Northborough, MA, US, has signed a deal with Photonic Sales International (PSI) focused on gaining increased sales coverage in the OEM market.

As of March 2003, FONS and PSI will collaborate to deliver the company's world-class, market-leading products to OEMs worldwide.

PSI is based in Boston with affiliate sales offices in London, Paris, Tokyo, Ottawa and Tel Aviv, provides the capabilities to further enhance FONS' ability to rapidly and effectively deliver products to the OEM marketplace.

All members of the PSI team are high-level photonic sales professionals with extensive experience and a proven track record selling optical components and subsystems in the global optical communications industry.

Through an alliance with PSI, FONS will be able to leverage the organisation's experience, knowledge and relationships to capitalise on market opportunities and be positioned to sustain a competitive advantage through a strong international presence.
