Lynx Photonic signs OrbitIQ as North America sales partner

May 13, 2005 Calabasas Hills, CA -- Lynx Photonic Networks, a provider of photonic switches, has signed OrbitIQ, a business accelerator for the information and communications technology industry, as a sales partner. Under the agreement, Lynx will sell its optical switching products through OrbitIQ's North American channel.

May 13, 2005 Calabasas Hills, CA -- Lynx Photonic Networks, a provider of photonic switches, has signed OrbitIQ, a business accelerator for the information and communications technology industry, as a sales partner. Under the agreement, Lynx will sell its optical switching products through OrbitIQ's North American channel.

"Having a powerful company like OrbitIQ as our sales partner allows Lynx to focus more on our core competence - developing superior optical communications systems and solutions," remarks Daniel Tal, CEO of Lynx. "With the breadth and depth of OrbitIQ's sales channels and network of executive contacts, we will now be able to expand our customer base and increase market share much faster."

Lynx's line of photonic switches is based on its patented planar lightwave circuit (PLC) technology, and includes its LightLEADER family of communications systems for protection switching and other applications. The compay says the products are aimed at network carriers, enterprises, and systems integrators.
