Time Warner Telecom launches another fiber optic network in California

Time Warner Telecom Inc. is now offering its complete suite of local dial tone, data, dedicated Internet, and long distance services to business customers in the greater Orange County/Los Angeles area.

Time Warner Telecom Inc. (Nasdaq: TWTC), a provider of local and regional optical broadband networks and services, is now offering its complete suite of local dial tone, data, dedicated Internet, and long distance services to business customers in the greater Orange County/Los Angeles area. Orange County is the 24th market where Time Warner Telecom is offering a full suite of business services.

Time Warner Telecom's local fiber optic network in Irvine and Los Angeles is now connected to its San Diego network, creating a regional fiber network. Connecting local optical broadband networks enables Time Warner Telecom to offer local and regional end-to-end connectivity to business customers in Southern California.

Initially, Time Warner Telecom's Orange County fiber optic network will encompass the densely populated business areas of Orange County's Irvine Spectrum and downtown Los Angeles. This market has addressable telecom revenues of more than $2.8 billion. Time Warner Telecom delivers telecom solutions for large, medium, and small business customers in healthcare, entertainment, financial, government, education and telecom industries.
