Loxley Plc., a Thai telecommunications company, and Bangkok Telecom Co., a Thai-Japanese joint venture, are building the first fiber-optic cabling plant in Thailand. The $4 million plant will produce 150 million meters of optic-fiber cables annually beginning in 1997.
