Dror Bin has stepped into the roles of president and CEO of access and backhaul systems vendor RAD Data Communications. He replaces the retiring Efraim (Effi) Wachtel, who led the company for the past 15 years.
The 45-year-old Bin served as a venture partner at Carmel Ventures. Before his tenure at Carmel, he held a series of titles, including president of global sales, at Comverse Technology. He also was a partner at management consulting firm Shaldor.
“Dror has a broad understanding of what drives success in the global telecoms market, based on his many years of experience as a senior executive in the industry,” says Yehuda Zisapel, RAD chairman and president of The RAD Group.
“During my transition period, I have met a team of highly professional and committed employees,” states Bin. “As a company, we have the innovation, vision, and market strengths required to grow and prosper this year and in the years to come.”
