America Ilsintech changes name to UCL Swift North America

June 14, 2021
The company is now part of a larger corporate division, UCL Swift Americas, that serves North and South America.

America Ilsintech, which supplies fusion splicers, splice-on connectors, cleavers, and accessories, changed its name June 14 to UCL Swift North America (NA). The company is now part of a larger corporate division, UCL Swift Americas, that serves North and South America. The name change aligns the company with its parent, UCL Swift, which also changed its name from Ilsintech Co. LLC.

“As we change our name to UCL Swift North America, we will better align with our parent company UCL Swift and our sister entities around the world. Rest assured that nothing will alter our commitment to our established standards of excellence and innovation,” commented Brad Everette, general manager of UCL Swift NA.

UCL Swift NA will market its products in the United States and Canada, with its headquarters in Carrollton, TX. While the company’s name has changed, its approach to the enterprise, data center, and broadband markets has not, stated Everette. “The products we make will always be superior, progressive, and cutting-edge. When it comes to solutions that increase productivity, improve installation timelines, and ensure reliable optical performance, we will always be your trusted partner and resource,” he asserted.
