Ting Internet names Neil Shah vice president of product
Fiber-optic broadband service provider Ting Internet, a division of Tucows (NASDAQ: TCX, TSX: TC; see, for example, "Ting Internet plans FTTH deployment in Fuquay-Varina, NC"), has named Verizon and Venmo veteran Neil Shah as vice president of product. Shah will be responsible for drive Ting’s internet and TV services development.
Shah most recently was head of design at Verizon and created the Design and User Experience practice within the Verizon Consumer Markets business unit. Prior to that, Shah was involved in the design and communications systems of the Venmo product and brand and aided the company’s $1 billion acquisition by PayPal. He also has experience in agency work for such brands as HSBC, Microsoft, and Condé Nast. Overall, he has more than 15 years in product and design P&L. Shah is a board member for customer experience at Rutgers University and an advisor to early-stage startups as well. He holds multiple patents in AI-driven interfaces.
