The acquisition expands Comcast’s enterprise service capabilities.

On April 1, Comcast Business announced that it has completed its acquisition of managed services provider Nitel.

Acquired from private equity firm Cinven, Nitel is set to expand and enhance Comcast Business’ ability to serve enterprise clients.

Comcast Business president Edward Zimmermann said the acquisition enhances Comcast’s channel distribution strategy and strengthens its ability to deliver reliable connectivity solutions.

“By combining these two great teams, we are poised to offer even more robust network, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions, empowering enterprises of all sizes,” said Zimmermann in a press release.

Nitel CEO Margi Shaw added that the future is bright for Nitel and Comcast Business.

“Our team has always been committed to delivering exceptional service,” said Shaw in the same press release, “and now, as part of Comcast Business, we will be able to accelerate innovation and provide even more cutting-edge solutions to our customers.”

Comcast did not disclose the financial terms of the acquisition.
