Granite finalizes Starlink reseller agreement

The communications provider is including its edgebootPro management solution with each Starlink kit.

On January 23, Granite Telecommunications announced that it has finalized an agreement to become an authorized Starlink reseller.

In addition to providing SpaceX’s Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite network service to enterprise customers in the United States and Canada, Granite is integrating its edgebootPro managed PDU solution into each Starlink kit.

Granite president and CEO Rob Hale said the ability to offer Starlink provides customers with competition, choice, and innovation.

“Providing a low-latency, high-performance option that multi-location businesses can seamlessly deploy across their entire network, even in rural and hard-to-reach locations, will add value and expand our service options,” said Hale in a press release. “Backed by Granite’s dedicated team of experts, award-winning customer service, and our one-stop-shop model, we are confident that Starlink’s LEO satellite service will deliver significant benefits to our customers.”

Other Starlink resellers include Comcast and MetTel, which is using the technology to deliver managed SD-WAN broadband service.
