Survey Response: President Trump's administration will impact the telecom industry

Readers weighed in on the level of influence the new administration will have on the telecom industry.

Last week, we asked readers how they expect the U.S. presidential election results to impact the telecom industry.

Responses varied, but a majority of responders believe that President Trump's administration will significantly impact the telecom industry.

35% of responders to the question "Do you think President Trump regaining the presidency will put the CHIPs Act in danger of being repealed?" answered "somewhat agree." 30% answered "agree," 20% "somewhat disagree," and 15% "disagree."

In response to the survey question, "Will the new presidential administration have a significant effect on telecom capital spending?" 55% of responders say yes, 25% say they are unsure, and 20% say no.
