July 24, 2024
The company reports that Sysak will develop the strategic vision for its cloud and networking platform.

On July 19, Lumentum announced that it is welcoming Matthew Sysak as the chief technology officer for the company’s cloud and networking platform.

Prior to joining Lumentum, Sysak worked for Ayar Labs, serving as vice president of laser and platform engineering. Before that, he worked for Intel as an architect and engineering manager.

According to social media posts from the company, Sysak’s extensive tech background positions him to develop Lumentum’s strategic vision of developing cloud, AI, and machine learning technologies.

“Under Matt’s leadership, we are poised to advance our capabilities in photonics, aiming to revolutionize the ways we connect, create, and interact within the digital ecosystem,” the company wrote in a social media post.

Sysak joins the company during a period of ramped-up data center interconnection product production.
