Wesco International announced on June 6 that it has completed the purchase of the data center and building intelligence software company entroCIM for a reported $30 million.
Wesco president and CEO John Engel said in a press release, “We are pleased to welcome the entroCIM team to Wesco. This acquisition is indicative of the expanded services, data-informed intelligence, and expertise that Wesco intends to provide to our global customers and supplier partners to drive increased value through the supply chain.”
Wesco now owns entroCIM’s Central Intelligence Manager (CIM), an HTML5 browser-based application that connects devices and remotely monitors systems in commercial facilities. Currently, millions of square feet of data center space, commercial buildings, and facilities like airports are being monitored by entroCIM.
