On May 16, Boldyn Networks announced that it has closed its acquisition of the on-campus connectivity infrastructure provider Apogee Telecom.
Boldyn Networks’ Group CEO, Igor Leprince, described the acquisition as an opportunity for Boldyn to expand its network offerings in the U.S. Higher Education market segment.
“With over 25 years’ experience, deep knowledge, and an exceptional reputation in this segment, Apogee’s expertise and know-how ensures we continue to support U.S. Higher Education institutions with the technology infrastructure services they need to operate and excel in today’s digital learning environment,” said Leprince in a press release.
Apogee services and offerings include managed wireless residential and campus networks, IT solutions, fiber infrastructure as a service, and video services.
Apogee CEO Scott Drossos said in the same press release, “As a Boldyn Networks company, we are committed to continue serving and delighting our customers with the tailored connectivity infrastructure and managed technology services they have come to expect. Now, with broader wireless technical expertise in areas like private LTE, 5G, and DAS, combined with unlimited innovation and the financial backing of Boldyn, that’s changing the game in the connectivity industry.”
