u²t Photonics AG says it has entered into a manufacturing agreement with Fabrinet, principally for production of u²t’s high volume product lines.
The company is perhaps best known for its high-speed receivers, as well as other devices for 40- and 100-Gbps applications.

We concluded that the right option to increase our capacity and flexibility was to engage with Fabrinet to leverage their engineering and manufacturing expertise in the fiber-optics market. In addition to our own production location in Berlin, u²t is well positioned for increasing demand by working with such an experienced partner.“
