Network Systems International to change name to OnSpan Networking

The name change reflects the companies move into Optical Networking, Fiber Optics Photonics and MicroPhotonics in addition to their current Data Networking and Communications business.

Network Systems International, Inc. (Nasdaq:NESI) announced plans to change its' corporate name from Network Systems International, Inc. to OnSpan Networking, Inc.

The name change reflects the companies move into Optical Networking, Fiber Optics Photonics and MicroPhotonics in addition to their current Data Networking and Communications business. Herbert Tabin President of Network Systems stated: "Our name change is one of many changes to occur with the Company. Our desired goal is to continue to build a Data Networking and Communications business adding Fiber Optics Networking and Fiber Optic Components that have the ability to earn above average profits."

The name change to OnSpan Networking Inc is expected to occur shortly. Additionally, a corresponding symbol change is also planned shortly based upon acceptance with the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD).
