3 November 2003 Hickory, NC Lightwave -- Corning Cable Systems has selected TVC Communications Inc. to distribute its portfolio of products to the cable TV (CATV) industry in the United States. TVC Communications will distribute Corning Cable Systems' complete line of products, from the headend to the customer premises.

With TVC Communications as its national distributor in the CATV market, Corning Cable Systems believes it will extend and enhance the support available to its customers. TVC Communications will stock Corning Cable Systems products for superior delivery intervals and representatives will be readily available to respond to customer inquiries.

Corning Cable Systems selected TVC Communications because of the distributor's national presence and reputation in the industry. The ongoing relationship, which began in mid-2003, has been successful for both companies and Corning Cable Systems' customers.

"Selecting TVC as a distributor of our complete line of Cable TV products is a positive step for both companies," said Steve Karaffa, Corning Cable Systems vice president of sales and marketing, public networks, Americas. "With TVC's support, we will be better able to support our customers, which is our number one priority."
