Parks Associates consumer research shows nearly a quarter of U.S. households receive internet and mobile services as part of a bundle

The firm reports that the convergence of services can benefit providers and subscribers alike.

Parks Associates released new research at CES 2025 that shows 22% of United States households receive internet and mobile services as part of a bundle. This finding, the firm reports, suggests a growing trend that is pushing broadband expansion through bundled services.

Parks Associates director of research Kristen Hanich reported that there are many ways for providers to benefit from bundles.

“More broadband providers are forgoing offering their own pay-TV services and instead partnering with vMVPD and SVOD providers to offer compelling entertainment services to their subscribers,” said Hanich in a press release, “ In addition, some ISPs have partnered with brands like Arlo to offer smart security cameras as part of their service bundles.”

Hanich said that customers respond positively to bundles, reporting that bundled services lead to greater customer satisfaction, customer retention, and new business opportunities.

Parks Associates also recently released data showing that ARPU for traditional services bundled with home internet is increasing.
