On November 21, the Altice USA brand Optimum announced that it is now serving 500,000 residential customers on its fiber network.
The company attributes the milestone to expansion efforts that include multimillion-dollar investments in its Northeast footprint, investments into the company’s fiber infrastructure on Long Island, and expansions to new markets. The company has also enhanced its marketing efforts, launching a new brand platform and marketing campaign earlier this year centered on its ability to provide localized care and support combined with the resources of a national provider.
Dennis Mathew, chairman and CEO of Optimum, said the company’s local teams have been working to transform its network, products, and customer experience.
“We have been doubling down on the acceleration of our 100% fiber internet network deployment,” said Mathew in a press release, “working to drive it deeper into our communities and enabling more adoption of these award-winning services to make us the provider of choice among consumers in each market across our footprint. Today’s milestone is a testament to the progress we have been working towards and a vision for what Optimum Fiber’s network looks like today and into the future.”
Optimum now has a total of 2.9 million homes passed across its fiber footprint.
