On August 22, residential and small business internet provider Kinetic announced that it is again partnering with Lexington-based “tech incubator” Awesome Inc. to provide free, multi-gig fiber internet for the organization and the entrepreneurs who use its workspace.
Ben Midanek, Kinetic’s chief marketing officer, said Kinetic continues to invest in Awesome Inc. because it is aware of the crucial role of reliable, high-speed internet in launching and growing businesses.
“We see the thriving entrepreneurial spirit here, and we want to help empower innovators, big ideas, bold action, and creativity through technology and engineering,” said Midanek in a press release.
Kevin Mansur, director of strategic relationships at Awesome Inc., said the company aims to offer all the amenities that one would find at a big-tech corporate headquarters.
“With Kinetic’s partnership and fiber connectivity, we can provide the speed and reliability many entrepreneurs need to conduct daily business—and we see the impact high-speed internet has on streamlining and creating efficiencies,” said Mansur in the same press release.
Kinetic has provided internet to Awesome Inc. since 2017 and sponsors Awesome Inc.’s 5 Across Competition—an event for entrepreneurs to pitch their business ideas for a chance to win monetary prizes.
