In this blog post, Comcast announced it's deployed a new "Automatic Sign In" feature for its Xfinity WiFi hotspots. When signing in to the network for the first time, customers use their Comcast IDs and passwords. After the initial sign in, customers' WiFi-enabled devices automatically connect to the network without having to sign in again. The MSO's WiFi team also has deployed several hundred hotspots in the Philadelphia area.
