Amazon announced that its Instant Video service now offers more than 100,000 movies and TV shows, including new releases and classics, available to purchase or rent on an à la carte basis. In addition, Amazon Prime members can now watch more than 9,000 movies and TV shows included at no additional cost with their Prime membership.Customers can rent or purchase new release movies starting at $3.99, stream TV shows the day after they first air, and access purchased video content from a cloud-based video library on any compatible device. Movies and TV shows can be viewed on a Mac, PC or any of 300 compatible Internet-connected TVs, Blu-ray players and set-top boxes.
