According to a survey from Wowza Media Systems, 68% of respondents use four or more devices a day to stream video and expect access to high-quality video streaming experiences on any device. The survey also indicated that more organizations are using live video streaming as a business tool.

Among the findings:

  • 43% of respondents use four to six devices on a daily basis. While 41% said TV is their preferred channel for viewing video, they continue to access video on multiple devices. More than 75% use personal devices such as smartphones, laptops and tablets to view video every day.
  • Almost 90% of respondents expect access to video on every device, and more than 70% demand video quality to be consistent across every device, every time.
  • 85% of respondents use video as a business tool. More than 80% of respondents stated that live and on-demand video is essential within organizations.
