The QYOU has been chosen by Lufthansa Systems to supply episodes of its shows for in-flight video entertainment systems on select European carriers. The partnership is the first foray into in-flight entertainment for The QYOU, which has a viewer base of linear, VOD TV and mobile subscribers.

Passengers will be able to watch episodes of The QYOU's Q-Prime shows on demand, which feature a curated mix of made-for-web videos across a range of genres.

Lufthansa Systems' wireless IFE solutions - BoardConnect and BoardConnect Portable - are designed enable passengers to stream content to their own tablets or smartphones during a flight with an app, which they can download before the flight.

As a result of the partnership, The QYOU expects to expand its offering to other Lufthansa Systems customers over the course of the year.
