Alticast has renewed its intellectual property (IP) license with TiVo (NASDAQ:TIVO) to deliver entertainment products in Korea. The IP license covers the patent portfolio of Rovi, a TiVo company, enabling Alticast to deliver video solutions to Korea's entertainment industry, including IPTV, cable and direct-to-home (DTH) platform providers.
Alticast is a supplier of middleware, interactive program guide (IPG), content protection, service delivery platform (SDP), UX virtualization and OTT products for the Korean pay TV market.
