i3 Broadband has launched restart TV in its greater Peoria and Champaign/Urbana, IL, markets as well as an expanded video on demand (VOD) library.

"We always strive to offer our customers the latest in television technology, and restart TV provides another way for our television customers to enjoy their TV viewing experience," said Grier Raclin, president and CEO of i3 Broadband. "Miss the first few minutes of your favorite show or turn on a TV show that is halfway over and you want to go back to the beginning? You can now restart that show, whether you're recording it or not, simply by pressing 'OK' on your remote and selecting 'Restart TV.'"

i3 has also expanded the number of movies and shows available on its VOD library. Networks available on VOD now include NBC, NBC News, Bravo, NBC Sports, NBC Universo, CNBC, MSNBC, E!, FOX, FX, FXX, FXM, Fox Sports 1, Golf Channel, Hallmark, Oxygen, SyFy, USA and Universal Networks. The company has also added three new channels to its program lineup: Hallmark Drama, Sportsman Channel and World Fishing Network.

i3, acquired by CountryWide Broadband in November 2016, last summer announced plans to build a gigabit-capable fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network in its Champaign/Urbana markets using technology from Huawei.
