VeEX has introduced the RXT-6200 Universal 100G Test Module for its RXT-1200 platform. Equipped with CFP4, dual QSFP28/QSFP+, dual SFP28/SFP+/SFP optical transceiver ports, as well as standard legacy electrical interfaces, the new module is intended for multi-rate testing of transport, core, metro, data center, NEMs and business services. Applications include installation, performance verification, maintenance and troubleshooting of emerging technologies, such as OTU4 (112G), 100GE, 50GE, 40GE, 25GE, IEEE 802.3bj RS-FEC, 32G/16G Fiber Channel, CPRI rate 9 (12G) and 10 (24G), along with support for lower rates, such as 10/100/1000Base-T and legacy PDH/DSn links down to 64 kbps.
"The RXT-6200 includes native support for all the latest high-speed interfaces and pluggable optical form factors being deployed commercially, as well as lower rates for day-to-day installation, maintenance and troubleshooting. Its dual-port architecture allows two independent tests and enables new functionalities, such as AOC/DAC (Attached Optical Cables/Direct Attach Copper) testing in cross-connect and data center environments," said Ildefonso M. Polo, vice president of product marketing for VeEX.
The RXT family supports a series of technologies from TDM (OTN, SDH, SONET, PDH, T-Carrier), Ethernet, Fibre Channel (SAN), CPRI/OBSAI (C-RAN) fronthaul, backhaul, fiber optics (OTDR), WDM (OSA), RF/CATV and broadband access test solutions.
The RXT-6200 100G test module, with 24G CPRI 10 and 32G Fibre Channel, is on display at OFC 2018 in San Diego this week.
