Minerva Networks has secured a license from Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) to develop against Comcast’s Reference Design Kit (RDK). The RDK initiative is intended to speed the development and deployment of next-generation video services such as cloud-based functionality, and enhance guide experiences with richer graphics and better search capabilities. The agreement allows Minerva to integrate its iTVFusion client with the RDK software stack, which is intended to help cable operators shorten the introduction of new interactive services.
