In advance of next week's Independent Show in Kansas City, ARRIS (NASDAQ:ARRS) is on a roll with deployments with mid-tier cable operators, notching wins with Service Electric Cable TV, Consolidated Communications and Comporium.
Service Electric has selected ARRIS for its new SE NEXT Entertainment Platform. Consisting of the ARRIS Whole Home Solution with an available MS4000 Media Streamer, Service Electric now enables its subscribers throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey the ability to stream live and recorded content throughout the home and on the go.
Consolidated Communications is deploying the ARRIS Whole Home Solution and ConvergeMedia Management Suite across its Kansas City market. The offering is intended to enable Consolidated subscribers to record up to six HD programs at one time, whole home DVR, and a more personalized content experience.
Comporium will sell the ARRIS MS4000 under the name "Moxi Sling" to its Whole Home Solution subscribers. The new solution is intended to enable Comporium subscribers to access live and recorded content on up to four HD channels in-home, or three in-home and one outside the home, simultaneously.
