It's intended to let subs set up the TV in any room, including rooms without an existing U-verse outlet, or even outdoors on a porch or patio. TV content is delivered from a wireless access point near the residential gateway over an in-home WiFi network to the wireless receiver. The AT&T U-verse TV Wireless Receiver will be available for order on Oct. 31. It costs $49, with a $7 per month receiver rental fee.
