Time Warner Cable (NYSE:TWC) announced the launch of Enhanced DVR, a set-top box with improved DVR features and capacity, in New York City and Los Angeles. Enhanced DVR features six tuners and a 1 TB hard drive. Consumers with Enhanced DVR can watch, pause, rewind and fast-forward DVR shows recorded on the Enhanced DVR on up to four other HD set-top boxes in the home.

Earlier this year, TWC began implementing major enhancements to its network in Los Angeles, New York City and Austin, TX. Markets scheduled for upgrade in 2015 include Charlotte and Raleigh, NC; Dallas; Hawaii; Kansas City; San Antonio; and San Diego.
