Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) is expanding the availability of live in-home video streaming to connected devices via its cloud-based X1 DVR service. The new multiscreen features have just rolled out in Connecticut; western Massachusetts; Putnam County, NY; and Vermont. It's previously been deployed in Atlanta, Augusta, Baltimore, Boston, the greater Chicago area, Houston, Nashville, Knoxville, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Washington DC. Comcast plans to continue the rollout to more of its X1 customers next year.

X1 customers can access their TV lineup on any connected screen in their home and download programs they have recorded on their DVR to watch on IP-enabled devices or stream them using an Internet connection, anytime and anywhere.
