ARRIS ECO Self Service will empower subscribers to manage their home wireless network with self-help tools. It is not a downloadable app, but rather is a cloud-based solution, independent of the device running the service. This enables the user to manage the home wireless network anywhere they have an Internet connection and is not limited to being in the home. With the proper login permission, friends and family can assist with management of the network.

Specifically, the solution validates the initial installation, ensures the proper configuration settings are used to optimize security and performance of the network, and provides instructions for tasks such as adding new devices to the wireless network. The visibility and management functionality of ECO Self Service enables unified management of the in-home network for the customer care agent, the technician and the subscriber.

Diamonds judges believe it will satisfy even the "most technically proficient" end user and provide the network operator with "extremely useful" monitoring and status.
