The NCTC has announced four new initiatives under which its member companies can purchase products and services at a discount. The deals cover streaming video devices, digital marketing, consulting, and network technology and tools.

Amazon

The NCTC announced a new initiative that allows NCTC member companies to purchase Amazon Fire TV streaming devices at a discount.

The new discount program will enable NCTC's member companies to provide their subscribers with streaming media devices including Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Stick 4K, and Fire TV Cube. Operators may offer the Fire TV devices bundled with their pay TV video service offerings or in conjunction with their broadband services. NCTC expects to begin offering the discounted Fire TV products to NCTC's member companies in the coming weeks.

Techint Labs

The NCTC has completed an agreement with Techint Labs, a marketing agency providing advertising services including programmatic advertising, retargeting and SEO/SEM. Under the terms of the agreement, NCTC member operators will gain access to digital lead generation programs developed by Techint and designed to grow subscriber numbers by encouraging new subscriptions and upsells.

CCI Systems

The NCTC has completed an agreement with CCI Systems to provide access to Cisco hardware, software and support. Under the new agreement, NCTC member operators will be able to purchase Cisco products at preferred pricing through CCI Systems, a Cisco Gold Partner. Members will also gain access to CCI's SmartNet advisory services which include hardware and software recommendations with an eye on cost reduction.

CCI Systems will also offer NCTC members project-based consulting support on network builds and expansions via their network-wide assessment services along with project-based services that span member networks for both inside and outside plant.

PerfectVision Manufacturing

The NCTC has completed an agreement with PerfectVision, a provider and manufacturer of cable and telecom infrastructure products, to give NCTC members aggressive price discounts on cabling, grounding supplies and tools. Under the new agreement, PerfectVision will maintain stock levels to ensure NCTC member companies get timely fulfillment on orders placed through NCTC's group purchasing organization, allowing them to be nimbler in their network deployment activities.
