Vitruvi telecom construction software supports CommScope fiber, wireless deployments

Dec. 21, 2020
Vitruvi says it enables CommScope to achieve higher levels of construction efficiency and client satisfaction.

Vitruvi, an Alberta, Canada-based company that produces sophisticated construction management software, announced that CommScope has selected its end-to-end GIS-based web- and mobile app-enabled project management platform to support the accurate and timely completion of its network construction projects.

CommScope plans to deploy Vitruvi software on its fiber and wireless projects in North America, Europe, and Asia.

“We are honored that CommScope has selected Vitruvi,” says Justin Reid, VP Sales for Vitruvi. “Clearly, they’ve seen real value in our unique product, which seamlessly integrates GIS designs into actionable project plans, budgets and workflows, and fully integrates field reporting. What this means is that office and field teams are provided real-time management and reporting of project status, labor, materials, schedules, financial data and close-out packages, with an unparalleled level of API based interoperability.”

According to Chirag Trivedi, Vice President, Professional Services, CommScope: “CommScope evaluated multiple construction software tools, and we selected Vitruvi for its ability to offer seamless and real-time visibility across fully GIS-enabled networks with multiple vendors and solutions. Their platform offers CommScope a competitive advantage, as we build the smart cities, fiber and 5G networks of the future.”

Historically, contractors have had to contend with disparate data sets and documents, disrupting the pace and uniformity of telecom construction projects. However, by aggregating all of the project’s construction workflows, documentation and data in one place, Vitruvi creates a “single source of truth,” making deployments exponentially more efficient from a labor and resource perspective.

According to Reid, CommScope’s team carefully vets the market’s leading products to ensure that their team—and their clients—have access to the most efficient and scalable solutions, with unrivalled user-experiences at the office and in the field.

“This is a true testament to the efficacy and quality of our platform, which we believe is the most built-for-purpose telecom construction software platform anywhere. We’re looking forward to an ongoing and fruitful relationship that will reduce project risk, increase productivity, and enhance capital efficiency and profitability.”
