North Carolina's Roanoke Connect plans new fiber connectivity builds

Broadband service provider Roanoke Connect, a subsidiary of Roanoke Electric Cooperative, announced its continuation of expanding fiber broadband services in East Northampton County, North Carolina. The expansion brings fiber internet to over 4,033 homes and businesses in the community.

Each new construction includes fiber to the home (FTTH) technology for fiber internet services, with broadband connections can reach speeds up to 1 Gbps.

Roanoke Connect offers a variety of internet speed options to best serve the needs and budgets of local residents and businesses. The provider said it is committed to positioning the community for success when it comes to reliable connectivity for work, school, telehealth and more.

“Accessible internet access is not a luxury, it's an essential tool,” said Bo Coughlin, COO of Roanoke Connect. “We are thrilled to extend high-speed fiber internet services to every corner of the community."
